Laughing Out Loud

I find humour in the fact that "lol" no longer means that we lol'd. It has gradually become complacent as time has passed. This poses the question, do I really give a fuck if I keep seeing assholes use the acronymous phrase or not? Meh. Though I don't see it disappearing anytime soon...rather hanging around while some of its contemporaries get brushed under the qwerty speak rug. It could very well prove to be the "herpes" of the backlit world in which all too many of us dwell...damn you "lol", damn you...
